I was advised by my co-Guilder about 8 a.m. on a Sunday that I need to drive to get some things needed for this event. Got excited even if I'm late because it was the National Artists Guild's General Assembly. After the inauguration of the national officers, I've got the chance to know new faces and new extraordinary talented hands.
It was a whole day activity held at Frisco from 10am-6pm, last Feb. 17 2008. Comprised with orientation about departments in AG such as: Production dept, Graphics dept, where it incorporates editing and graphical designed in computers, Freehand dept. where pen and paper are needed for actual drawings. Another department is the Arts and crafts dept. where all of the actual piece from scratch to golds and all of its kind, is art. In addition, there are Art lessons such as skirting-taught by Bro.Joey Blanco; basic streamer lettering-taught by Bro.Rene Pabilonia; styrocutting lessons by Bro.Roy Urap and a team building activity spearheaded by Bro.Henry Cabrales with help from Bro.Jun Norte and evaluated by Bro.Vic Timario.

Unlucky for me, I didn't learn all of them in one day. Well looking on the brighter side of it, there is a gateway for learning... but it needs God's guidance, perseverance, and hard work. For talented hands just like the folks from AG, truly it's a gift no one should brag about. Thank God for these Christian Artists. It's a great opportunity to offer Thanksgiving to God, as we all practiced too before we the event ends.
All the glory and the honor should be given to our Almighty!
